Wowzers it’s Friday! Isn’t that just super swell? *chuckle* I can breathe a little easier today because people that owe us money from last year are finally sending checks Making collection calls are just a hoot-a-roo dontcha know.

Anywho-de-doo-de, we’re spending the weekend working on the house due to our upcoming T-Day Deadline so I’m sure going to have oodles of fun getting dirty.

It’s grey (gray?) and quiet outside this morning, rare for where I live. The Hotness is working on the ceilings and it’s not even 9am yet. Last night we decided to round up all the pocket change in the house and go to the casino to take a break from the humdrum of life. We had $14 between us to play with, I ended up winning all our money back and then $3.82 *chuckle* The Hotness…not so lucky.

We also managed to show up during the Transvestite Variety Show where we got to see “Cher” and some guy dressed as who the fuck knows what kinda woman doing a stand up routine. Quite the shock to the system honestly. But after dinner at the beach themed restaurant there we went on home with our $3 winnings. Not a bad deal for a Saturday night worth of fun.

I’m kind of dreading this week but I can’t wait for it to be over. On Halloween the guy who is staying with us is supposed to be moving out (read: is being kicked out). He doesn’t seem very motivated to do so and he’s got a temper from hell so I’m not seeing this as going well. My dad is coming up on Halloween day to kind of regulate if anything gets out of hand.

But if everything goes according to plan this week by Friday we should have our third bedroom back so we can move our office out of the family room. Once all that’s done we can finally finish the front of the house. I can’t wait to have an actual office, sitting in the family room is so disjointing and it makes it hell trying to talk on the phone when the birds get talkative. Not to mention there’s construction dust all over our desks because the work had to go on no matter where the computers were.

This has got to be a wicked boring post I know, but for some reason I can’t get myself out of my stream of consciousness mode. C’est la vie. If you haven’t made it over yet stop on by and see Liane, maybe say hi if you have a moment to spare…I’m sure she’d love the company

Thank god I took a day out to get Room #813 cleaned up, I’ve neglected it so poor Dazed had to sleep on wrinkled sheets and look through dirty windows *sigh* I’ve been busy. BUT, it’s all spiffy now so let’s all welcome the new renter whom I must admit I just LOVE LOVE LOVE her header *chuckle*

Anywhoot, she’s 20 and “a mess of contradictions”. That alone should give you reason to go take a look at her blog. Go say hi, the little cows are totally worth the trip (and the writing is good too)

Hey did you realize today is Thursday? I just found out myself and all I gotta say is “Where the fuck did the week go?” I’ve gotten nothing accomplished and after doing a mini-rewind of the week in my head the only thing I’ve done this whole time is wander around the house with a coffee cup muttering about doing reports and printing files. Not so much on the productive end. And not a good practice for creating blog fodder. I hate to disappoint.

Meh.

Onto happier things, we have a new face in Room #813 Everyone meet Dazed, Dazed this is everyone! So now that we have the formalities outta the way let’s all stampede over to her kick-ass blog (the layout features Wonder Woman!) and tell her hullo while she settles into her new digs! Ready? Set? Hey y’all, I think I’ve driven myself mad playing a Halloween game and I figured that I shouldn’t be the only one having spooky brain cramps right now so I’ma sucker you guys into it! yay! M&M Dark Chocolate has a Dark Movie Game thing-a-ma-bobber (warning: there’s sound) where you look at this big picture and try to find 50 “dark/scary” movie titles via the individual picture riddles held within.

Using your mouse to move around the picture when you think you know one just click on it and it’ll pop out a lil’ box to type your guess in and click the arrow thing. If it turns red then that means you suck and ya need to try again. If it turns green then you don’t suck and you guessed right and it’ll grey out the part of the picture.

So far I only have 14 “you suck” images left (found 36)…see if you can whoop my ass and post your scores here…but fair warning it’s addictive
