Being away from the blog world for awhile means I’ve kinda missed out on a few things here and there. It struck me this morning as I sat down to review my work from last night that I didn’t recall hearing a peep about Blogathon ’08 over the last few months. I knew it should have already happened at some point this summer but I usually receive emails from certain bloggers looking for sponsorship and I hadn’t heard from any of them.
I went to check the Blogathon website and was kinda bummed to find that it didn’t happen this year. 
Granted, putting on the ‘thon is a HUGE production and tough work to boot so I understand their wanting to take a year off to rest a bit. I really do hope though that it comes back in 2009 because it’s one helluva great idea and I totally need my fix *chuckle* I <3 my Blogathon!
