Dinner-schminner

I’m a lazy bitch in the kitchen, if I don’t have to do much of anything and still get a tasty meal out of it then I’m game. This usually includes eating things out of boxes, bags, cans and microwavable cardboard cartons. Thankfully, The Hotness does most of the cooking for us — he doesn’t quite share the same penchant I do for fast food.

But I digress. This year I’ve made it a personal goal to at least attempt to cook meals that require more involvement than just “set Power Level to High”. So, that being said…

Got any recipes that you’ve made that actually taste good?

Here is a super easy one…

    Frozen boneless skinless chicken breasts
    Jar of your favorite salsa

Put the frozen chicken in a slow cooker and dump the salsa over them. Let it cook all day, when the chicken is done take it out of the slow cooker and fork shred. Add some of the salsa back into the chicken. Serve with tortillas and taco fixings.

Go online and check out 30-minute meals. Or better yet, go to FoodTV.com. They even have videos that take you step-by-step. I alsways find it strange that some people that love to eat, hate to cook. (smiles)
