My father plays that game and only that game. He always says you will never beat me time. I play it on my phone sometimes and I will beat him… i Hope! So he will SHUT UP! = )
I’m in HR so I’m not sure I totally get that comment however I can say this…it’s like the only “safe” thing you can do at work anymore. Big Brother watches every other move you make on your computer.
Perhaps us HR folks are just smart and realize that

Not just old people. Don’t forget about all the people who work in HR. They ALL have Solitaire game.

A lot of them think they’ve accomplished something big by winning. oops….that may be us one day yearsssss from now…..lol.

Hmmm…I use a Mac which doesn’t come with solitaire. Probably a wise thing…a huge time waster for me if I had it!

….as for old people and computerized solitaire 4 theories:
1) that’s the only thinkg they know what to do with a computer
2) they are attempting to save money on the numerous decks of cards they have purchased throughout life…or….more horridly…
3) it is a sign of the times…we all are grwoing lazier by the minute!
4) arthiritis is easier to deal with when one only has to click away!
