It’s Gettin’ Jobby ‘Round Here

Got a new job, started today! It’s already proving to be a helluva lot better than my last one even with the cut in pay so I’m a happy camper! It’s working for the one of the utility companies as a construction representative — super simple work thus far :)

In other news The Hotness and I have decided to just be low-key this Christmas with gift giving which means about 80% of the gifts we’d usually give aren’t being purchased. I’m sure someone will bitch but I don’t care.

We finally managed to get the pictures from the step-daughter’s wedding ceremony ordered last week and they arrived yesterday — super fucking awesome looking might I add! I’ll try and get some loaded up on here for y’alls viewing pleasure.

Annnnd, we got new pillows tonight — down ones…I hope they’re comfy since I’ve never owned down stuff before.

    I stopped buying gifts for anyobdy that isnt immidiate family or a very very close friend. It work out well.

    Kudos on the new employment! Thats great news!

    As for the presents, that’s a good idea. I decided to go the other way this year myself (buying presents for complete strangers, hobos, and various tradespeople working in the neighborhood), and it’s proving quite costly! ;)
