Not to Brag or Anything…

But my Christmas cards are thisclose to being done, the tree is up and decorated and I’ve already drank my first glass of holiday eggnog! Mind you, I have not really gotten any shopping done nor do I even have the foggiest idea what will be on the shopping list. But the whole “cards are almost done” thing means I’m off to a great start…and I can say that because last year the cards went out on December 24th and we didn’t ever get around to putting the damn tree up ;)

How goes the holiday prep in YOUR world?

We are done with the Yule shopping and are going to get the tree either this weekend or next. we have been arranging the house to put the tree in the bay window out front. When the tree goes up the lights will go up. and they will come down 2 weeks after new years. Everything goes up 2 weeks before and comes down 2 weeks after.

Hah! My word is “Pissy” that is such a Bug word!

The tree was decorated Thanksgiving morn’…No, I am not bionic, my mother basically did all the cooking. She did allow me to cook a dish or two…
    Shopping is complete! Yah!

Mom called today “to plan the menu”…WHat can there possibly be to plan for a Christmas menu?

I suppose that would be a good question to keep in line with the holiday spirit.

Good tidings to all, peace on earth towards men and women and children and animals!

(Don’t want to leave anyone/thing out!)

Glad to hear you are back in the saddle!
