Catch Up
Whew, so it’s been awhile eh? Lemme see if I can’t catch y’all up with a readers digest version of what’s been happenin’ around these parts:
The Wedding
Ah, the wedding…it consumed the entire family here at Casa de la Bug for a few weeks. With only 30 days to plan we spent almost every waking moment working on it. Come time for the big day everything was beautiful and everyone had a damn good time despite the stress.
Of course it wouldn’t be a wedding if there weren’t a few bumps and mishaps!
For instance, the groom was 20 minutes late to the ceremony…and his parents were 45 minutes late. During the time where all the guests were sitting around waiting the song “Here Comes the Bride” played on loop for the 45 minutes. I didn’t get to be at the ceremony due to the reception hall needing set up — but apparently the sound room guy didn’t know how to use the “next” button on the CD player.
Out of 150 invited guests we had 110 show up for the formal sit down reception dinner…and only 2 waiters to serve them all (a lot of the folks we hired just simply didn’t show up). I ended up donning an apron and being one of the wait staff the entire night…I found out serving lasagna dinner in heels isn’t so fun — I’ve still got blisters to prove that.
But with my little brother heading up the kitchen staff we got some serious food cranked out and nobody went home hungry 
I don’t have any pictures yet but one of the guests managed to get some video of a couple parts on his cell phone during the reception:

The Army
The Hotness has joined the Army Reserves! This morning he went to his first drill looking damn good in his uniform! I’m excited for him and he’s so glad to be back in the military YAY!
The Cat
My sweet kitten Loki is a whore. She escaped out of the house about a week ago and is now preggo-kitty. So, if anyone is looking for some kittens give me a few weeks and I’ll air mail you a nice fresh one 
The Rhyming Words
I’m trying to write a collaborative poem…thus far I’ve had zero success making it make sense. But I’m starting to think that poetry doesn’t make sense anyway…I may scrap the whole project but y’alls words are fucking awesome
Ok I need to go catch up on blogs and clean my house before the dust bunnies eat me alive…have a killer weekend everyone!

the groom was late, that would have made me nervous and the parents being late would have led me to believe they didn’t want it to take place wow

Awww, it looks great! Shame about the lateness and lack of servers, but it still sounds pretty awesome!
