I've never had to stay at a women's shelter, but have a friend who works at one. While there are certainly some bad experiences out there, I don't mind helping those who help others. My Dad is a real psycho (Like he has actually been comitted) and he used to beat my mom and us and blah blah blah. BUT The moral of this story is that when we went to a womens shelter once, we stayed one night. And the next day he was there, the womens shelter people let him intimidate my mom into going home with him and it was years after that things finally came to an end. I dont know why they even let him through the door. :^( So yeah, now I dont trust womens shelters. :^( Ill be keeping all my tampons, thanks. Because things arent always how they seem to be.
