In my last ditch attempt to avoid work today I had that cute little thought which is now serving as the title of this post. I realize now that thought was better off un-thunk. I found out today that I horde links. I’m like the crazy cat lady…but in place of cats I have thousands of links that are taking up space and not really serving any purpose. I’m the crazy link lady

My bookmark list (or favorites list for you IE users) is outrageously bloated, overloaded, jam-packed and in some cases outdated. So my cute little project suddenly turned into a house full of cats and I spent 4 hours today deleting links I don’t even remember why I saved in the first place. The worst part of it all?

I’m nowhere near finished.

But, at least there is a bright side to all this crap. I’m finding some pretty fun stuff to play with in between link-purging sessions.

It’s the end of January and I still find myself re-gifting stuff from Christmas. Yes, we still have packages showing up on our doorstep. What can I say? Either we’re really loved people or some of our friends totally forgot to send out our gifts until after the ho-ho-holidays had passed.

Now I hate to say what I’m about to because it makes me sound pretty ungrateful but either way some folks should really quit while they are ahead. Please take my advice on this: If you don’t know what to get us ask someone we know, they’ll help you.

When The Hotness and I opened this up today there was a moment of total silence where I swear the hamsters in our heads were spinning like mad to think of why someone would purchase this for us. Neither one of us speaks Yiddish, and we don’t recall writing any poetry or having a desire to start…especially Yiddish Poetry. (Which coincidently, we didn’t know Yiddish Poetry even existed till today.)

To tell you the truth the only Yiddish to ever come out of the mouths in this house is an extremely occasional “Oy Vey!” and it’s said about as un-Yiddishly and un-poetically as possibly. We finally decided it was because The Hotness is a Jew…

…without my beloved Krispy Kreme doughnuts I just found out a few days ago that all of the Krispy Kreme locations here in Arizona have closed down. I now have to drive all the way to fucking Las Vegas to get an Original Glaze fix *sigh* And wouldn’t ya know it, as soon as I find out I can’t have them I have an overwhelming craving to devour a whole plate.

Go figure.

Hey I’m actually early this week! Yay!

Thirteen Things about Bugalicious 1. I’ve got 7 days left to launch a site that should really take another 15 days to finish. Me stress? HA! 2. Remember how last week I told y’all about my cousin flying in from the east coast? We had a blast! A day trip down to Tombstone was just what the doctor ordred 3. Yesterday was Beer Can Appreciation Day, I hope your beer cans felt nice n’ appreciated! 6. It snowed here in Tucson on Sunday night! Real, live snow! Thankfully it was all gone by Monday mid-morning. I like snow but not that much. 7. My dumb ass was out playing in it at night wearing flipflops pj’s and a jacket. 8.
