Y’all Sure do Talk A Lot!

Hey so all of you readers should feel proud today! The comment count here at AIS went over 2,000 early this morning! A big furry thank you to each and every one of you who takes time to give feedback on my posts, I love hearing from ya and it makes me all warm and fuzzy when I see a new comment appear in my inbox :) Cheers!

Let’s move on to the the “do-gooder” arena — I have something else that you should look into for the holiday season. It’s free, it’s easy and it’ll only take a few minutes of your time. Let’s Say Thanks is a program that is being sponsored by Xerox that allows folks to personalize a paper postcard for a deployed soldier in the U.S. Military. Xerox prints out and pays for all the distribution costs of the postcards and mails them to soldiers all over the world.

Click here to send a free post card to the soldiers!

You can send as many postcards as you like and even include your own personal messages on the back. The front of the cards are designed by little kids from around the country. This is a great freebie project for anyone, have your kids sit down with you and fill one out or if you don’t have enough cash in the budget for extra spending on charity over the holiday season. To check it out click here or on the banner above! :)

In the sidebar you’ll notice Room #813 has been temporarily replaced with The Giving Tree! It’s a bit cluttery looking but it contains some great links to all the holiday projects I talk about here! Check ‘em out and if you have any you’d like to see added just email me with the details:
