We went shopping yesterday and I picked up a box of Corn Pops on a whim…man I forgot how good those little bastards are. I’m also a fan of Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Lucky Charms and Honey Bunches of Oats with Almonds.

You guys I’m the luckiest muthafucker alive right now! Seriously. About a week ago The Hotness’s daughter Maria asked if I would go to the doctor with her. I agreed because I was past due for a trip to this particular type of doctor myself….you know…the one that rhymes with mine-o-cologist.

Well as the week went on I’d randomly remember why I really didn’t like going to these places to begin with. To the guys reading; I don’t know if I can compare the experience with anything but lets just say there are vices and pliers involved…and not in the good power-tool-y way you’d think. It’s so uncomfortable and I know it’s the right thing to do but day-um you’d think after hundreds of years of medical advancements and all this great technology they have those folks would have made some more user friendly…um…tools. But I digress.

Last night Maria comes to me and says “We can’t go tomorrow because I have an important lesson in class and I can’t miss it.” Y’all I think a choir of angels busted through my roof with a robust Halle- fucking -lujah chorus. Today is a good day; I’m saved from the stirrups. I know that it’s inevitable that she’ll reschedule us and I’ll end up at that place eventually but I feel like I’ve gotten a “get out of jail free” card

In other lucky news, I had another great big slew of people bid on Room #813! There were quite a few familiar faces who had bid and it was like hacking a limb off only choosing one. But I cowgirl’ed up and made a pick like any shrewd landlord must sometimes. So without further adieu I’d like to introduce Amy from Amy’s Musings! The Hotness and I have begun doing Billy Blanks Tae-Bo workout in the morning. There are muscles that I didn’t know I had coming out in protest of our newfound exercise stint. But everyday except for the weekends we’ll be inviting a very large man who is wearing blue spandex into our bedroom to whip us into shape.

Wanna podcast? Wanna put it on your blog? Don’t know where the fuck to start? I gotcha covered The other day in my ‘net travels I found a new website that is making podcasting super simple and it’s 100% free. *nods* I like free, free is good. I’m sure you like free as well. I feel an introduction is in order. Readers meet Odeo, Odeo meet my readers!

So, I tried it out and found that it works extremely well. Here’s the overview of the whole deal:

1. Sign up for the free account.

2. Go right to the studio to “Record New Audio”.

3. Record your podcast.

4. Save it.

5. Odeo gives you a snippet of code that you just copy and paste into your post.

6. Publish your post annnnnnd yer done!

I did a test recording using their studio software to see how the whole thing worked and this was the result for your listening pleasure:

They also provide a few different styles of players so you don’t just have to use the default player. Here’s a screenshot of the current styles you can pick from:

I think this is pretty cool, it’s like Blogger for podcasting *chuckle* And incidentally one of the guys who helped create this service (Evan Williams) was the same guy who created Blogger Little history trivia factoid there for ya to impress your bloggin’ buddies with.
