Clothing Flashback and Other Stuff

Beings that we finally gotta new washer n’ dryer I’ve been busy as can be washing all of The Hotness’s clothes that military goods shipped over awhile back. Whilst sorting the stuff out into tidy color-type piles for their trip to the tub I found these bad boys:

Ok, now lemme start this with: I love The Hotness very much and I think he’s the sexiest guy around. But those are neon green and black SPANDEX shorty-shorts people. Before judging him I consulted with his daughter Maria to see if he actually wore these…apparently he did back in the late 80′s/early 90′s and in her words:

“It was very disturbing.”

Needless to say the shorts will be tucked away in the back of the closet and The Hotness has promised that they will not be making a returning début ever again. He would also like me to add that he was 150% against the writing of this part of the post.

Next, I want to share a quick secret about my favorite Programming Community, Dream.In.Code. Lots of people ask how I “know stuff” about computers, tech crap and site development. It’s pretty easy folks, I just ask the smart people then remember what they tell me! If you need help on anything computer related or are geek-inclined putter on over and check this place out. They have oodles of geeks there just chompin’ at the bit to help ya out and are always looking for fresh ~~blood~~ brain cells to answer people’s questions. Finally you have to love the place because they have their own clothing collection with shirts that will totally make you cool levels rise drastically just by wearing them.

Here’s mine, I wear it a lot so it’s wicked faded but still sex-ay as can be:

Finally, I want to send out a huge internet hug to one of my favorite bloggers Busy Mom. Her mother passed away and if you have a moment stop over to her place and just give her a little *hug*, she worked damn hard taking care of her momma and I’m sure she could use the support right now.

OMG, toss those suckers into the garbage RIGHT THIS MINUTE!

I’d also like to add that I had a bair of body glove shorts that looked just like that, only not green, they had neon pink. Yup. Thanks for reminding me of my fashion foibles.

Dude, love your shirt! I want that shirt! I guess I’ll have to check out the geek site and get me one of those!
