Mutterings from a Mushy Mind

Awhile back I mentioned this story in one of my podcasts. I dunno if it is the fact that I’m still pretty out of it or what but I am totally considering going to the local supermarket with a fine point sharpie and pimpin’ out AIS on some eggs…wanna join me?

Yeah it’s a bad idea. Nevermind.

I tried to do a little updating on my blogroll today with all the cool people I’ve met and holy shit on a stick I’m going to have a lot of reading to do everyday now! Methinks I’ma have to split the list in half and visit each half every other day…as it was before I added more it took me a good hour and a half to get through everyone *chuckle*

I’ve tidied up the sidebar a bit, the nifty lil’ Buggie Cam will actually remain a permanent part of AIS and will be located here and perm. linked to on the About Page. Every once in awhile I’ll turn it on and make funny faces at the interwebs until I figure out just what I wanna do with it. Room #813 will be open again soon, I’ll post when I put it up. Win It! will be TBA until further notice, I gotta get caught up with everything.

My house is trashed and there are Code Red cans scattered from hell to breakfast waiting to be rinsed and recycled so I’d better scoot on and get to work. Have a great day y’all and I’ll see you back here tonight for the prize drawing!

Total Amount Raised: $1,837.00

OH. MY. GOD. Y’ALL! Excellent job everyone, absolutely excellent job! I’m totally floored at that number guys! YAY! Thank you to each and everyone who donated or posted links to Yandy in the name of fighting cancer…y’all ROCK! This really wouldn’t have been done without each of you. Trust me. Give yourself a pat on the back/ass/head/whatever, you deserve it!

My deciding to participate in this years ‘thon was done on a whim (seriously) and I didn’t think I’d even get to $100 so my expectations for this event were insanely surpassed on every level you can imagine. I thank you all for your appreciation but I must say that the real thanks goes to the folks who sponsored and supported me. All I did was sit on my ass for 24 hours (’cept for when I was happy dancin’ of course).

I think I’ve finally made it through all the emails from the last couple days, if you were waiting for an email back and haven’t got one please re-send…I may have ass-idently hit the delete button in my sleepy haze.

People have been asking when they make the actual donation; you’ll be receiving an email within the next couple days with a link to make your donation. If you don’t get that email or want to go ahead and donate right now then please click here. That link will take you directly to the American Cancer Society secure online donation page.

The prize drawing for all the goods listed here will be done tomorrow night so make sure to swing on by for that :)

If anyone is wondering “Where is Bug’s story?” then lemme fill ya in: ‘thon rules said that no one could prepare their posts ahead of time so I couldn’t write up my story the way I wanted it to be. With only 30 minutes to write each post I felt that it wouldn’t be right to summarize my experiences in a random and off the cuff sort of way. I want to put everything down in a readable and orderly fashion not just for y’all but for my own healing purposes as well. So, Bug’s Cancer Story will be coming to ya sometime this week complete with ass-tons of resources!

Ok I’m going to bed people….much love!

Ok guys and gals, this bug is flat-out-stone-cold-pooped-the-fuck-out. I love you all for what you’ve done for this whole smackdown on cancer! Thank you to everyone who commented, emailed and called me during the ‘thon without y’all I’d of been snoring on this desk after the third post!

I still have a shit ton of emails to reply to and people to talk to etc etc. I swear to god I’ll get with ya just not right now because I can hardly see this post as I’m writing. But I’ll get back to ya!

This was my first ‘thon and each and every one of you made it totally awesome for me! I made tons of new friends and I think I showered more times than I really needed to but who’s counting right?

So, without further adieu…

Bug. Has. Left. the. Building.

PEACE!
