First, I like the new look!

Second;
I've read it 3 or 4 times already. I love the book. Thought it was a great read and a great adventure.

Didn't have too much faith to begin with, but have always felt that anyone who "loses their faith" because of a book or whose "marriage is diminished" because of same-sex marriage or "question their whole existence" because some school refuses to teach creationism is just a fucking moron.

Get over yourself sheeple!!!

Hello!
I have read all the books by Dan Brown and the first part of the Robert Langdon's series "discovers" the other sides if the Church but no such disturbances arose then... What is the difference between the books? I think it is only because of the introductory words about the fiction. I wonder why people start such global polemics about someone's fancy ...

skipped.the.book.

watched.the.movie

Anyway... Loved the movie, loved the ideas.... think it's creepy people are freaked out over a stupid movie. We literally had picketers down at the Moive Theatre with signs and the whole nine yards.

I think it was said best by someone when they said "I liked King Kong too, but that doesn't mean I think he's gonna come swipe me outta a window and fall in love with me."

IT'S A BOOK/MOVIE PEOPLE!!

Anyway, if a book or a movie like that can sway your faith that much, maybe it wasn't really what you believed anyway? That's about how I feel about it.

And Bug... between everything yer doing... where do you get off having time to READ?!?!?! I sure as hell don't have the time LOL!!! *snickers*

I read the book about 2 years ago, and I really enjoyed it. The conspiracy ideas sparked me to buy about 5 more books that talked about the same conspiracies and then ended up in huge debates with all of the folks I knew who'd read the books too. We actually ended up with this little book club over the whole thing. I then bought the rest of Dan Browns books because I enjoyed that one so much. I am anxious to see the movie too!

I think those who are going to "loose" their faith over a freakin' book or even a movie didn't have very strong faith to begin with. Those folks are wishy washy and would probably believe the sky was falling if they watched Chicken Little.....

I read the book about 3 years ago, if I recall. Right when it first came out. I read it because Hubby liked it so much and I was trying to impress him at the time (we just started dating...)

Yeah, I'm *that* girl. ick.

Anyway, I remember liking the consipiracy theories, but I also remember that it was a dull read from time to time.
