Uma Hates Peas
Hang on tight ya’ll this post is gonna be a doozy!
Look at those two photos above. One is obviously me, the other…obviously NOT me. In fact, that is Uma Thurman (for those who are living under a rock). Yesterday at the dentist one of the ladies came in and said to me “We’ve talked about it and we’ve come to the decision that you look like Uma Thurman.” I’m guessing the “we” was her and the mouse in her pocket…or possibly the other dental assistants…who knows. Anyway, this is not the first time that this has happend to me. One night while at a local mexican joint the hostess who was seating us placed our menus on the table then turned to me and said…take a wild guess… “You look just like Uma Thurman!” I don’t see it…Rich doesn’t see it, Sebastien doesn’t see it. I flat don’t get it. What do you think?
Moving on. I hate peas. With a fiery passion…just the thought of them makes me want to hurl. Big time. Anywhoot, today I arrive at Rich’s house for a little visit and he goes to the fridge to get something to eat. What he pulled out is seriously making me reconsider our relationship. Like can I even allow myself to be seen in public with this man?
He apparently made him some mac n’ cheese and put some tuna in it…which is ok, no bigs I’ve eaten it like that a million times. However, he’s crossed the line…the man put PEAS in there with the tuna and mac…he has defiled all things holy about mac n’ cheese. Even worse he had me try some (I only agreed after he picked the peas out and I closely inspected for anymore offending green things) and god lemme tell you what- it’s a good thing he’s hot otherwise my ass woulda been gone-out-the-door-been-nice-knowing ya because that shit was disgusting. Even with no peas present in the bite there was pea flavor. PEA FLAVOR IN THE MAC!
I think I should at least call Dr. Phil and find out if this is going to pose a problem somewhere down the road….
