So, I’m back from my breif hiatus (read: didn’t have time to do anything other than work). Got the new server up and almost have everyone transfered over :o) This blog was neglected badly (as it usually is) however, that will no longer be the case.

Scratch that contender bit and insert mutha fuckin’ dentist. Yesterday I took the boy to get his teeth checked out as I found out that he’s insured through my mom’s work. All I gotta say is thank god for her insurance because the total bill came out to $4,187.00. The boy is now under threat of death if he doesn’t floss and brush at least twice a day.

I’ve always been overly anal about my teeth being pretty. I brush twice a day and have always had pretty good reports from the ol’ dentist when I had checkups. In my life I’ve had a total of 4 cavities. Anyway, since I made Seb’s appointment I figured I should make one for myself as well. I knew I had a cavity oddly enough under a filling that had been put in. Long story short the dentist who did the original filling fucked it all up and now I have done something called “abscessed” and need a root canal. *sigh* Let’s all say it together now: “Sarah’s procedure is costing $1,636.53 and she doesn’t haven insurance!”

I go on monday, however at my new dentists advice I’m going to be writing a letter of complaint to the old dentist informing him in nice words that he really sucks the big one….hard. So all in all insurance or not those guys are gonna bite a big chunk (no pun intended) out of my savings. I really need to talk to my boss about a dental plan …muhahaha!

Fuck it’s been nuts around here. I’ve been trying to get everything that needs done done and it’s just not working well. Between Alert First and TLCWS I feel like I’m drowning, not to mention NV Trust and taking care of Sebastien/the house/etc. Most mornings I wake up and dread the day ahead because I know it’s going to be insane.

I still haven’t gotten the bathroom tile laid down so it’s torn up and just sitting there. I need 10 extra hands and another 10 hours in the day it seems. Things just seem to move too fast anymore…time keeps slipping away and I can’t seem to figure out what’s going on. Everyday I think about if I’d be better off just getting an office job somewhere and doing the 9-5 thing instead of driving myself mad with this stuff.

Bah, who knows…anyway I’ve got nothing else that could possibly be intresting so I’m going back to the shop.

Ok now that I have your attention, Oktoberfest was fecking weird. The boys and I went to check it out, ran into a few people we knew. Lots of drunk people, they ran out of cotton candy (the cotton candy booth, not the drunk people). It was drizzling rain most of the evening. But that wasn’t even the weird part.

We had sat down at a bench that was about 100 feet away from the porta-potties when a couple of really pretty women who were extremely well dressed walked up a few feet away from where we were. One was most likely in her mid 30’s to early 40’s and the other couldn’t have been a day over 21. I thought to myself “Oh how nice, a mom and her daughter are out partying it up!”

Anyway, out of nowhere these two chicks start seriously making out! All of us at the table just stopped and stared. The boys went slack-jawed as I silently cursed myself for not bringing along the damn digital camera because a picture of two chicks making out would totally raise the ratings of AIS. *sigh*

After about 2 minutes of serious necking they stumbled off in the direction of the beer tent. A guy who was standing near by caught my eye and we both just kinda shrugged and laughed. Only at Oktoberfest…

p.s. I don’t have anything aginst lesbians, it was just a bit unexpected.

Praise the lord and pass the ammunition it’s finally friday.
Tonight is Oktoberfest…gotta go do some laundry so I can have my brother drag me around the park for a few hours and laugh at drunk old people. He’s single again (thank god because that bitch was nuts) so it’s time for me to hunt down a new chickkie for him :o)

I may as well rename this damn blog…it’s turning into “The Wild Kingdom”. This lizard decided to hang out on our kitchen sink for awhile…he sat still for about 15 pictures then mosied over to the soap dish to chew on some flies:
